Children
Aikido is practiced by children 5 - 14 years old, through educational games which aim at focusing the child`s senses to observation of its self and the space around it, while enhancing cooperation and coexistence with other children.
The natural and dancelike movements of aikido create a new understanding of the body and improve focus, flexibility and stamina.
There are no competition and contests in Aikido. Structured techniques during training promote cooperation and remove aggression. Children learn to exercise on cooperation, which will become the basis for personal growth.
The goal of exercise for children is to acquire self confidence and consiousness in their everyday life.
