"Tenchikan" means the place where earth and sky are "united". "Dojo" in Japanese is the place where through physical and spiritual exercise we reach enlightenment.  Tenchikan Dojo was originally set up at 2002 at the YMCA. A new era begins from October 2011, with the creation of a place at Konstantinopolitika in  Pylaia, which will be the headquarters of Tenchikan Dojo and will work alongside with the YMCA classes. Its name is " Dojo".

"Tenchikan Dojo" is a member of "Hellenic Aikido Partnership", a group of cooperative schools recognized by Sensei Yasuo Kobayashi 8th Dan Aikikai and "AIKIKAI HOMBU DOJO", under the supervision of Sensei Urban Aldenklint 6th DAn Aikikai and the support of Sensei Kazuo Igarashi 7th Dan Aikikai and Sensei Petteri Silenius 6th DAn Aikikai.
